Linda Gifford - No Health Insurance anymore
My husband and I have been married for 42 years and have Always had health Insurance up until 2 years ago when his company cut his pay in half because of this we had to drop our insurance. This was about the same time my back doctor told me my spine had just about had it (to many operations from 28 years ago, a horridness auto accident 17 years ago; through all of this I fought my way back and lived a good strong life until it all started taking its toll. A year ago I fell and recieved a complete tear in a tendon in my shoulder and neck problems with no insurance I could not get it fixed and and now it has affected my spinal fusion area an it is affecting my hips, legs to the point of hardly being able to walk. My shoulder is no longer in the right place and affects my upper torso. It feels like over night I have become a cripple and it is getting worse. I have always prided myself on the ability to get back up, to overcome anything. My family always marvaled at the strengh I showed; at the determination I had. Now my family sees a wife, a mother a grandmother falling before thier eyes and there is nothing I can do about it. With Insurance again I could get my shoulder operation and get my spine stable before it gets to late to do so. I don't have a video to send but I am praying this goes through. I know there are so many folks who need your help and I would understand if you couldn't choose me; I just found your article and believed there may be hope yet. By the way Robin Hood my mom was a blackjack dealer for many years when I was young. This is a wonderful thing you are doing; you are certainly one of the good guys. Thank you so much.
